Our Approaches

The Divine Light working in grass root level through door to door survey by our community mobilization awareness & counseling to the beneficiaries in villages, Jhuggi Jhopari, clusters, unauthorized & resettlement colonies of our project areas. During awareness & Counseling we come to know that more & more number of young girls & women are sexually assaulted by their kith and kin against whom they cannot lodge complain. Because members of the family mostly involve in the same.

The Divine Light focuses on developing the potential of women and girls to drive long lasting equitable changes. We strategically emphasis on promoting quality healthcare, inclusive education, gender equitable and sustainable livelihood opportunities and awareness & legal support on social evil and atrocities through our legal professionals & Govt protection officers.

Our efforts are focused to fight against underlying causes of poverty, building secure and resilient communities and ensuring a life of dignity for all women and girls from the most marginalized and vulnerable communities, especially among rural slum and adivasis.

As we move ahead our key programming approaches include social analysis and action, gender transformative value chain approaches, leadership and life skills strengthening, building capacities and leadership roles at multiple levels, advocacy on national platforms and facilitating links and dialogues between public, private and civil society.
